Hyundai Tiburon

From OpenGK

Hyundai Tiburon (Tuscani or Turbulence in Korea) known in Europe as the Hyundai Coupé is a sports coupe that was produced by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai from 1996 to 2008.

This wiki is focused on the GK platform which Tiburon was based on from 2001 to the end of production in 2008.

GK (2001-2004)

"bubble headlights and mostly red tails. Front bumper has the long narrow slits and side gills look like gills. FL headlights require a harness modification or swap. Can be converted to FL taillights by hammering the chassis in to dent it. Convert to FL2 tails requires cutting chassis and swapping FL2 rear bumper."

FL (2005-2006)

"Non bubble headlights and better looking taillights that are often swapped on to the GK chassis. Front bumper has the bigger mouth that looks like it would fit an intercooler. Side gills changed to a single vertical slit. Tails can be converted to FL2 with some hammering. Requires rear bumper cover."

FL2 (2007-2009)

"GK and FL headlights, taillights and gills are not swappable without major work. Bumpers, hood, gills, fenders are all different."
