VCI is a diagnostic interface manufactured by gitauto.com, used with OEM Hyundai/KIA diagnostic tool - GDS.
While genuine interfaces are difficult and/or expensive to obtain, plenty of knockoffs can be found on Aliexpress. This article is based on said knockoff
Variants
The interface can be found in blue or red case. There are no differences in the hardware or firmware. Red variant comes with KIA stickers, blue one comes with Hyundai stickers. The red variant allegedly becomes sticky to the fingers with heat exposure or normal wear&tear.
