The purpose of this article is to explore other valvetrain options using stock components from other makes and/or models. Now that Ferrea no longer sells a complete kit we need to look to other options. For camshafts please see Camshaft Specifications.

The following table assumes you use the OEM valve retainer and keepers and maintain the OEM 34.5mm installed spring height. Stock lift is 8mm and lift of the commonly used Crower .349-.351" regrind is 8.9mm.
