Our OEM retainers and keepers are meant for a ~17.50mm I.D. valve spring. The keeper angle is 9 degrees for a 6mm valve stem. There are several retainers that look like they might fit our motor but you may run into mismatched keeper angles, valve stem diameters or incorrect keeper grooves on the valve stems. For example a BC2220<ref>https://store.briancrower.com/products/bc2220-1?variant=13489835540545</ref> Titanium retainer may appear like a perfect match but it has a 7 degree keeper angle. | |||

Valve Spring Retainers & Keepers/Locks
Our OEM retainers and keepers are meant for a ~17.50mm I.D. valve spring. The keeper angle is 9 degrees for a 6mm valve stem. There are several retainers that look like they might fit our motor but you may run into mismatched keeper angles, valve stem diameters or incorrect keeper grooves on the valve stems. For example a BC2220[5] Titanium retainer may appear like a perfect match but it has a 7 degree keeper angle.
