MT 5 Speed Mitsubishi M5GF1 2.4L & 2.7L

The largest of the M5 range is the M5GF1 found mainly on the 2.4L and 2.7L platforms. In some regions the M5GF1 may have been used on 2.0L variants such as the South Korean EF Sonata 2.0L taxi cab or Carens. Use of the 2.0L was not common in other regions for this transmission type and the bellhousing to adapt the M5GF1 to a 2.0L is no longer available new.

MT 5 Speed Mitsubishi M5BF1 2.0L

The medium sized M5 is found mostly in the 2.0L platforms such as the GK, XD, and LD chassis.
